Spirit (by Di Smith)

The Wisdom Traditions tell us we are spiritual beings
navigating our way along unknown earthly paths
often accompanied by aloneness, fear and vulnerability
world-weary souls forever searching
for a sense of place
on a journey of discovery
above the  feathery foliage of the fern strewn garden
the breeze kisses the cheek of the garden spirit
perched upon the cool dark rock
this Deva has her sense of place
knowing that the entirety of nature is spirit
and in spirit we connect deeply to the natural world
immersed in that which is wildly good
spiraling into laughter and love
