Something new and different. Although Bronze is my primary medium of choice, I do also enjoy experimenting with different materials. This sculpture was created to be part of an exhibition at ArtSpace Durban earlier this year. I attempted to create a sculpture where the inside aspect of the sculpture is visible. Where that which is usually hidden is exposed to the viewer. I used a material from the Cemecrete range of materials; water resistant and strong, the Boiler Plaster allowed me to model and cut out my form. The artist statement for this sculpture can be found by clicking here.
