This portrait bust was commissioned to accompany the bust of Paul du Pont, founder of the Xonghile Game Park in Mozambique. Dr Amilcar Ubisse’s invaluable contribution to the development of the estate is to be honoured along side Mr du Pont.
A Portrait bust (head and shoulders) sculpture of someone special - deceased or living - can be commissioned.
This is pure bronze - created via a lengthy expensive process with Moulten Bronze. This will last forever outdoors or indoors. Prestigious, traditional and beautiful finish. he starting cost for a 30cm high bronze sculpture starts at about R50 000.00 and then the price will go up dependent of size and design.
NB: I will require a minimum of 3 months or more depending on how busy I am and the foundry work load.
This is a cold casting process using layers of fibreglass and resin with a bronze powder for the finish.Better priced but should be kept indoors or out of direct weather conditions with a cover .
