This elegant and large wetland bird is struggling to survive in South Africa.
A new breeding program been built at the Usher Conservation Centre in Nottingham Road, KwaZulu Natal Midlands, South Africa. The breeding of Cranes is a complex business, and many different strategies are required to successfully rear chicks who will be well adapted for living in the wild. Mondi is using 3 sculptures as a floating trophies in their Annual National Wetland Awards.
