The Buffspotted Flufftail is a small bird living in evergreen forests, forest scrub and in well-wooded gardens.The male has a dark body, heavily spotted with beautiful golden buff, and chestnut head. The female is barred brown below, dark brown above with buff spots and chest area.
Their mystical foghorn-like call (”doooooo”)in the evenings and misty days and shy nature has resulted in these birds being a prize find for any ornithologist and amateur birder alike.
